This device works completely with Honda's iHDS, which is the same application used at Honda dealerships for OEM diagnostics, bi-directional controls and reprogramming.  It is also compatible with their security application, which enables key adaptions and security work (Honda does require the user to have a Lock Smith ID).  The subscription for their application can be obtained on line.  Toolbox3 comes with the device, and shows you the details of the application capabilities, requirements and also a video to help you get started.
